The NZ Kayak Fishing Group’s Coromandel Open Invite is an awesome opportunity for kayak fishers of any experience level to test their skills fish in a new location in the company top yak fishermen and fisherwomen from all over the country.

What you need to know

When 22 April at 6:30–14:00

Where Papa Aroha Holiday Camp, 1091 Colville Road, Coromandel

Entry Fee NONE! That’s right, there’s NO fees and NO registration! Just turn up and come fishing with new faces

Start time 6:30 to 7:00 am launching straight from the beach in front of the camp

Return Around 2 pm

Barbeque/Prizegiving Around 2:30 pm to 3:00 pm

Accommodation Book cabins or tent sites ASAP

Important Everyone’s responsible for their own SAFETY! If you’re a newbie please ask to buddy up with someone

Demo kayaks can be arranged for newbies keen to have a crack – with the added benefits of safety and gear advice on site, thanks to the support from the team at Viking Kayaks in Matamata.
